i prayed to Al Gore

And Al Gore did smite the workers of fire by sending forth a torrent of rain to silence them. And they were silenced.
Praise be to thee Al Gore.

The rain was too hard and the sound of it on the roof kept me awake anyway.
Damn you, Al Gore.

Not sure if your prayer stopped the fireworks. But now I can really feel that Global Warming today.

Global Warming is not something that's happening since the last couple of decades. It has been going on for over 250 years now. Well there were no trains, plains and automobiles during the inquisition....... duhhh.
Now, all of a sudden it's a hot item.

Look at it from the bright side, once all the ice in Greenland is gone, there will be plenty oilfields.... So, my tip is to emigrate to Denmark....
Ow, and buy a boat.

Ow, and Al..... stop polluting the environment.... Your home and private jet alone are responsible for 20 % of the global warming....

Oh, like anyone listens to the political theories of the Dutch.

And that is bad ASS American, thank you.

ehh, well.... 80% of Holland is below sealevel, so I guess it's the Dutch that should be worried...
Not really. I live 50 meters above sealevel, 100 miles from the sea. So in 20 years I don't have to drive to the beach anymore.
More water, so no more Sahara. If you get warm, just take a dive, There's plenty of water.
If you loved ski-ing, you can now waterski.
I see only advantages in global warming.

As for my political rabble, I remember some countries not signing the Kyoto treaty. Now let me see, ow, it was the US, amongst others.

And now Al wants to be more catholic than the pope (translated Dutch proverb)

Ow, and Eric... I remember the very very very very cold winters in Marlborough. It will probably take another 2000 years before the winters get warmer in Massachussets.

The baddd ASS Dutch has spoken ;-)

So the moral of your story is, what?
When global warming gives you lemons, make warm lemon aid?

The moral of my story is:

The soup that you eat is less hot than the soup that you serve (another Dutch proverb..., sigh)

Yes, the earth is warming up, is there anything we can do about it? I think not.

Limiting pollution will help, but I think that we cannot stop the global heating.

Do you think the Chinese will care at this moment? They do their own thing, trying to "invade" Africa to get their hands on "energy".

I can go on and on and on....

Piece (or was it peas). No, ehhhh
PEACE!!!!

The earth goes through cyclical changes anyway. We have had many Ice Ages and Global Warming periods. We don't even really KNOW that we are to blame.

The real interesting thing is this. Global Warming actually feeds into Ice Ages. As the polar ice caps melt the overall world water temperature drops. This will then change the global currents like the Gulf Stream. This will cause an overall decrease in Global temperature and usher in the next Ice Age.

I can't wait, it is clearly too warm...
